Cowboy Hell is a top-down shooter set in a western themed hell. Solve puzzles, defeat bosses,
and eventually work up to killing Jeff Bezos himself!!!
Cowboy Hell is a cute voxel based metroidvania-ish adventure game. It has a lot of different elements
in it: puzzles, combat, time challenges, upgrades, comedy, giant boss battles, ect. It was the first large
game

I'm pretty happy with how Cowboy Hell turned out, especially for one of my first projects.
It took me almost exactly one year to make, starting junior year of high school. GitHub says
I wrote over 13,000 lines of code!
This game is around 2 hours long and really fills the time with content, there are a lot of crackpot
ideas in this. It is a really challenging game and many players repeat sections they
die in, or stay stuck in some puzzles.
The Hell Banjoist plays tunes, helping you find your way back to town!
Hell Rogue is always where you'd least expect it! From the path of a giant crusher, to an opulent palace, to... ????

Cowboy Hell started as a weird inside joke among me and my friends. I think
the original line that started the whole thing was
"Welcome to Cowboy Hell, where the cowboys are cowboys and the grass is... red"
I decided to make a game out of that lol.
There are a lot of inside jokes in the game. All the voices for the various characters
are done by my friends. Some of the writing is done by them too. The amazing cover
art was done by my friend Cam Chen!

If you find Millie in the game, you're a top echelon Cowboy Hell player, not many
people have done that. If you find Kevin mode... O_O
